An average pool. It has a little obstacle course for kids. My kids enjoyed it, we were there less than 2 hours. I got the family deal, 4 people for $70. I would say it is good for teenagers but not for families with little kids.
Best pool in the area. Staff is super nice, towels provided, nice sauna, showers, workout area. Never had a trouble sharing a lane. Love this place! Parking in the summer isn’t always fun though…
This place is the best! Extremely kid and parent-friendly. The obstacle course kept my kids entertained for the whole day and proved to be a good challenge for me too. The water was warm, the showers were nice and hot. Free lockers were a nice touch but not needed. The locker room was clean and well serviced. I noticed the staff checked it regularly. The lifeguards seemed alert and engaged and I felt my children were safe at all times. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly and answered most of my questions before I even asked. Overall, I highly recommend Plunge San Diego to anyone and everyone!

Love this place. The shallow depth is perfect for my son. It helped him gain confidence in the water, and now he's a great swimmer.
Our kids have been in swim with Coach Ian for less than a year and have made amazing progress in their skill and confidence. Our five year old can manage swimming in the deep end and our 2 year old has the confidence of a kid 3 times her age. Ian is so gentle in his teaching methods and gives them each great encouragement. Both kids look forward to swim for three days leading up to their lessons with Coach Ian!
